Thanks for checking out my website!

I am a UX designer, thrilled that I get to help make tech more empathetic.

The most exciting aspect of UX to me is that it feels like an endless sea of new, interesting things to learn. Here’s what I’m learning about now:

I am on a mission to 1. learn more about diversity & inclusion in UX, and 2. improve my UX research abilities.

I started out as a developer and snuck my way closer to user-centered work until I was fortunate enough to land in the UX world.

I studied computer science at UChicago, where I jumped at all the front-end development opportunities and HCI classes I could get my mitts on. After graduation, I went into product as employee number 1 at Simmer (YC S19), where I got a taste for product design and confirmed my love of all things user. I went on to complete a certification from Springboard’s UX Career Track; I found the material rich and interesting, and it left me antsy to learn more. Throughout my career, I have worked with startups in several industries (health tech, consumer food reviews, social media, IT).

This is my favorite UX tweet

In my spare time I enjoy practicing henna, appreciating animals, doing crosswords, reading, and anticipating Halloween.

Pre-COVID, I liked to explore the city I lived in (Chicago → SF →NYC), trying to find the best doughnuts & ramen (if you live in Chicago: Do-Rite Donuts & Ramen Wasabi. Trust me).

During COVID, I like taking long walks and inviting friends to take long walks with me.

I also volunteer with Ladies that UX, and am on retainer as my grandmother’s tech support.

Welcome to the bottom! 🙌

I’m currently looking for my next opportunity! I am interested in junior UX designer/researcher or product designer roles, and open to relocation.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, or just to chat about anything mentioned above!
